28/3/13 - Wow, it's been awhile since I've added anything to this page.  We have now improved the lighting in the units! We installed new CA rated downlights (recessed lighting).  Now the units are bright but you still have lamps if you want a softer light.  Being CA rated means the insulation butts up to the lights so there will be no loss of insulation value - bonus!

3/10/2012 - We've got a new double glazed slider in the Cottage, which has 2 opening doors!  That will make catching the summer breeze that much easier.  Don't forget The Cottage is pet friendly too!

8/8/2012 - We did it in June and we're doing it again in August - Our Studios are going out at 2009 prices!  The economy certainly gives our guests a bonus at the moment!  We've only got 3 available so get in early!  We look forward to seeing you in August.

5/4/2012 - Just had the guy around to give us a price for re-erecting our Orbit sign - it came off in the big March winds.  We've got an ARRA conference here at the end of April so better have our Brand sign up before the other members and head office arrive!

7/3/2012 - Just managed to get the last One bedroom painted before Ironman 2012.  The views inside are almost as good as the one through the window now!

16/1/2012 - Looks like the weather might finally be settling down.  Thankfully there's plenty to do in Taupo no matter what the weather!  We've even got an Ice Rink - just what you need in the middle of summer.  Only 1 unit left to be redecorated and it's the front one with the best views - this unit is always busy, but we will fit the painting in somehow.

27/12/11 - I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and have got something special planned for New Year too!  We went swimming in the lake on Christmas Day - just perfect!  Brent & I hope your 2012 will be even better than 2011 and look forward to seeing you next year!  Cheers, everyone!

7/12/11 - Look - we've got a new page to let you know what's happening at Accent on Taupo Motel!  I'm getting more and more IT minded as I get older!

The redecorating is going to plan - 5 done & 3 to go.  Now all I need to do is get new photos onto the website.
